The Royal Federation of Xharas
The Royal Federation of Xharas emerged when lasant pirates god fed up with the tame response of Roeva about their slaves. They decided to take a good chunk of land for themselves and make their own rules and their own country. These pirates founded the Royal Federation of Xharas. An organization which champions for equality and business.
For the large part, Xharas is a pretty lawless, but organized land. Here people believe in magic and in strength, in mythical powers and in science. You could go from one edge of Xharas to the other and find all kinds of different opinions, yet all of Xharas is united behind one goal - a better future where the Federation thrives in all aspects.
It is ruled by democracy and each town has a representative in the council - even the smallest town is heard. The council makes all economic and moral decisions together. While not warmakers, Xhoras also has a strong military of about sixty thousand soldiers, all trained in magic and martial arts.

Hills of Suleiku
Hills of Suleiku are the main farmlands for the Federation. Most crops and animals are grown here, and protected by the Green Flag, which regulates farmland and animal rights.
Suleiku has a few settlements that together add up to about twenty thousand inhabitants: Fjon, Daran, Vos and Reiviash. All of the settlements specialize in the same things and grow similar crops, but each has an individual governor, responsible for that settlement.
Most people here are lizardfolk, kenku who prefer a peaceful farm life, humans who have moved here recently to help the Federation and yuan-ti who have been rejected elsewhere.

Port Royalis
Perhaps the most famous port in all of Maecaer, Port Royalis is constantly bustling with life from the Federation and all other coasts. This town is extremely colorful, filled with culture and life, traditions and celebration. It’s magical and everyone is welcome - from any background at any time. The town does have a high underground crime region, but it doesn’t interfere as much with this megacity.
About a hundred thousand inhabitants live in Port Royalis regularly and more come every year. New buildings are constantly built here and new celebrations are unveiled. The people who do not wish to be found are easily lost in the Port, among its’ many races and cultures. Occasionally you may even see a stranger from faraway lands visiting the port to gawk at its majesty.

Moon Soars
Moon Soars are a city of floating rock formations, drifting quietly above the Crescent Lake, the biggest lake in all of Wesandran. Moon Soars are filled with all kinds of genasi and are one of the biggest indingenous populations still remaining in the continent. While the formations themselves aren’t big, they house a fairly large city of twenty thousand genasi.
The genasi who settle in Moon Soars believe in a variety of Gods, ranging from new to old. They worship Selune, Nayana, Pryan, Jucata as some of their most revered deities. The temples for these Goddesses can also be found within the Soars.
Moon Soars is a very magical place, where not many outsiders dare to go. While people fish around the shores of the lake, many don’t venture into the open out of fear of the Soars - and whatever is hidden within the lake.

Crescent Lake
The biggest lake in Wesandran is a quiet, crystal clear water lake in the middle of the Federation territory. Many fishing towns are situated by the lake and people don’t shy away from reaping the benefits provided by it’s bountiful river.
The lake also serves as a freshwater reserve for many in the Federation, including Moon Soars, floating above the lake. There are four main fishing towns situated by the lake: Carr, Wyuk, Lorn and Desera. Each town houses about two thousand inhabitants each.
The inhabitants in the town enjoy the colder atmosphere of the Crescent Lake. Most who live here are dwarves, tiefling, yuan-ti, minotaur, with some humans and half-elves.
While Crescent Lake provides water and fish for many, it’s also a dangerous place, harboring unknown monsters in its’ dark depths. Rumors and legends of all caliber surround the lake.

Oberidom Range
A range of icy mountains, surrounding the lake quietly guard it from any unwanted intruders. These mountains are unlike anything else in Wesandran. They aren’t rock & sand, they are pure ice that never melts. Most speculate that the mountains are somehow magical.
Oberidom Range is a dangerous, almost unexplored place that many don’t dare to traverse. Genasi who live in the Moon Soars have stories about the mountains and the Gods who made them - or the Gods who live there.
The mountains are also rich with gemstones, freshwater and exotic animals. Many who traverse them even a little can note that things in the mountains aren’t exactly the way they are anywhere else. Sometimes, the mountains are called “A world between worlds” - a place where Gods and mortals meet.

Silver Sands
Unlike other deserts, Silver Sands is a cold desert, a waste of snow and ice, decorating the northern parts of The Federation. Here towns and resources are scarce so not many people choose this as their settlement.
However, it is a perfect place for drow, who have been abused to run away to and live. A couple towns have peaked towards the Ethernalis, where some drow have settled. Those are Hurovik and Nada, small settlements with a thousand people between them, no more. All who live there are drow.
While the desert is not filled with dangerous animals, they are definitely filled with less than ideal weather conditions.

Ethernalis
Ethernalis is another large genasi setting in Wesandran. Curiously, these genasi don’t worship most of the main pantheon, instead choosing to worship the fanes of Barovia. The genasi here recognize them as their main Gods.
In the name of the fane of death, they named their home Ethernalis - close to what she calls hers, Etherralis. The genasi here are very friendly with neighboring drown towns and often take care of the drow, who they recognize as an abused race of people, often misunderstood and slandered.
The genasi here also helps the Federation and serves on it’s council. They are involved in the politics of the world more than most other genasi who have joined nations or kingdoms. The weather up in Ethernalis is very cold, and unforgiving, but it’s beautiful, starry and white.
About ten thousand genasi live there.

Astral Desert
Positioned on the very north, in the island of Ishavala, the Astral desert is a plain of white and nothing else. Nothing grows in the desert, but there are some animals who occasionally spend their days here.

Yandisk
Yandisk is a settlement of genasi who have lost their faith in any of the Gods, but in the recent years have joined the Federation in hopes of bettering their life and rejoining civilization. The genasi here are few, about three hundred in total, and they have lived in solitude for a while.
While the ships occasionally stop at the island and search its desert, few ever make it to Yandisk, so travellers and outsiders are far between. Those who do make it to Yandisk often stay here, out of the fear of never making it past the desert.
